Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMP) Manual

JWP is proud to present the City and Borough of Juneau’s (CBJ) “Manual of Stormwater Best Management Practices.” This manual is a practical guide for land developers, designers, planners and contractors to promote site design and post-construction stormwater management in Juneau.

In response to regulators and agencies requesting improved treatment of stormwater on development projects, the City and Borough of Juneau and partners produced a guide to educate the community on practical site design and Stormwater Best Management Practices (BMPs). Information in this guide is aimed at implementation in the design, construction, and re-construction phase of development on projects with more than 5,000 square feet of impervious surface. Smaller projects are encouraged to apply stormwater control techniques and source control practices to a practical extent.
